Not so. You can see at least two points in the demo where the player is being damaged, and going into that quiet, dark mode made famous in the Call of duty series. However, it isn't due to effective AI, more the player being a bit crap. The point I was making was look at the AI. If they're not slooooooowly cliiiiiimbing over a waaaaaall, they're standing out in the open, waiting to get shot in the face. Their shots are about as accurate as a Sony rep's opinions of the 360, and the final ...
Once again, if you don't own a system, don't talk about it. I'm serious, if you have never owned or at the very least often played a system, talking about it is the VERY DEFINITION of ignorance. Gow and Halo 3 are the only good titles? What about Dead rising and Lost planet? What about Rainbow six Vegas, Graw2 and Splinter cell DA? What about Fight night 3, Oblivion, Test drive unlimited, PGR3, Forza, The Darkness, Viva Pinata and Bioshock?
You know NOTHING about the 360, ...
I wonder how many times he said "Just one more level"
It's quite blatant you do not own a 360, nor have you played GoW or Bioshock. Do you even know that talking about a game you haven't played is the absolute definition of ignorance? It would be like me saying the LoTR films are better than the books without experiencing either.
Motorstorm is visually impressive. No doubt. Depth? Hardly. Resistance fall of man is visually impressive. Depth? To an extent. But to compare it to GoW? Short sighted at best. Resistance is li...
The environments look absolutely sweet as f***. I particularly loved the bit where the guy stops at a table, just to shoot through it so the things on it fall through. Really, the environment and the lighting are just phenomenal, along with the environmental damage.
Two things though. Firsst, it seems the character detail fell short of the original fmv that had everyone convinced it was gameplay. It still looks nice, but you can see it's not quite what they promised. And...
"Xbox 360 games keeping up with PS3".
What console war has this guy been watching? The multiple platform titles have almost always been given screenshot, and sometimes video comparisons. In the vast, and I emphasis vast majority, the 360 versions are chosen as the visually superior. This article seems to falsely insinuate the opposite. The PS3 games have been trying to catch up, and recent games like Skate have in some ways done so, but to say the 360 is "kee...
Ahahahahahahahaahahahahahaha!!
*breathes in*
AAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahah ahahaahha!!
Sweet s*** this game looks cool. Early version too, it can only get better from there.
Easiest way to look at it is this. Sam Fisher, is a bloke. A highly trained kick ass soldier kinda bloke, but a bloke nevertheless. Solid Snake however, is a born and bred f***ing superhuman. He's not just some dude who took a job, he was born a s*** kicker. Sam Fisher ghosts his opponents and kills them realistically. Solid Snake can hold about 8 weapons including a missile launcher and a rocket launcher, and can literally fill his opponents with magazine after magazine. So in a fight...
Microsoft could have had Grand theft auto 3 and all subsequent sequels as exclusives. It was offered to them before Xbox 1 was released, but like idiots they refused. They were then snapped up by Sony, released first on PS2, and later ported to the Xbox 1. Pretty sad considering the major foothold that game would have got them.
@MarioFromTexas
So I'm gonna go ahead and assume correctly that you've never played gears of war in your life. Am I right? Yes, I'm absolutely right. And in that, you're displaying both your ignorance on the subject, and your willingness to look ignorant on any subject. Useless.
@-_-_-_-_-_-_-
Yes XBL could be free. PS2 online could have been charged and maybe then it wouldn't have been so utterly unplayable. Currently we are still awaiting on the long verd...
It just seems to me that Sony are being a touch avoidant. Like pretending the opposition haven't caught up and hoping no one else notices too. HD DVD have made a step in the right direction, and Blu ray is yet to do the same. Right now HD is in the lead with regards to capacity, it's up to Blu ray to release a triple layered disc themselves. As it is, it's a very poor move by Sony to just say "Oh who cares".
The thing I've always thought when it comes to the online side, is that paying for it, pretty much guarantees a good service. Like the old saying "nothing good comes free". This was certainly the case with the PS2 online service, which even the most ardent Sony fan would not defend. It was piss poor, but free. Now Sony are trying to redress the balance by throwing the PS3 online service into the mix. But the thing is, if it degrades and is found to be lacking in comparison to X...
I certainly take my console purchasing advice based upon how cool it is in relation to the opinions of 2000 British children. And with that in mind, I'm off to play pogs and Yu Gi Oh cards. Ciao.
First I'd heard of this. Chances are Silicon Knights are just looking to get some money. Last I heard about Too Human it was being torn apart by gamers who tried it out. They probably need some cash to fix it up.
I can't agree with you here Jax. I've been a console and pc player my entire gaming tenure, and have played fair nigh on every FPS game going. I've seen games overhyped, and I've seen games given their just desserts, and Halo is the latter. Consider the alternatives at the time of Halo one's release. Nothing matched it for it's graphics, and the gameplay was absolutely solid. Then the second was released, and again it came out with phenomenal graphics, and this time one of the most solid...
Yup, this game definitely looks bad ass. And I could be wrong but I believe this is yet another 360 exclusive. Then again, every game microsoft makes gets put on PC too, so that term is a little misleading. Still, looks fantasticmazing without question.
Also confirmed today, the sky is blue and oxygen is good for you. More after this...
Tomb raider without the tits. Could someone explain the appeal -;P
Only kidding, looks cool.
To compare these two titles would be like comparing the early Timeshift demo to the current timeshift demo. NG2 isn't finished. It's quite a long way off with a '08 release. Lots of things will be done to it. Sigma however is not only finished, but is simply a polished version of a previously completed title. Comparing a finished title with an unfinished one is senseless. Poor show gamevideos.
